API 2B Pipe

The purpose of this specification is to provide standards for the fabrication of structural steel pipe formed from steel plates with longitudinal and circumferential butt-welded seams and suitable for use in the construction of welded offshore structures.

All EEW Group pipe mills have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the American Petroleum Institute that their personnel are competent in welding, inspection, non-destructive examination and testing as required by the API 2B specification. As such all EEW pipe mills are licensed to apply the API Monogram to products complying with this specification.
